The Logistics Command works with domestic and foreign cooperation partners on a regular basis in order to carry out its task to ensure the efficient use of the Defence Forces’ capabilities and execution of operations in all circumstances.

The Defence Forces logistics system is an entity formed by the Defence Forces and its partners enabling the operations of the troops of Defence Forces and the development of its capabilities in all states of readiness.

The 3rd Logistics Regiment supports the administrative units of the Defence Forces and the Border Guard in the organisation of logistics and support in all states of readiness. As a special feature, the Regiment provides materiel resupply and maintenance services for military aviation.

Puolustusvoimien räjähteiden tuotanto, kunnossapito ja käytöstä poistaminen ovat Räjähdekeskuksen vastuulla. Se vastaa myös käytöstä poistettujen ja hylättyjen räjähteiden hävittämisestä sekä koetoiminnasta.

1. Logistikregementet stöder Försvarsmaktens och Gränsbevakningsväsendets förvaltningsenheters logistik- och underhållsarrangemang i alla beredskapslägen. Till regementets specialiteter hör att upplagra explosiva varor och följa upp i hurdant skick de är.

2. Logistikregementet stöder Försvarsmaktens och Gränsbevakningsväsendets förvaltningsenheters logistik- och underhållsarrangemang i alla beredskapslägen. Regementet har specialiserat sig på underhåll av Marinens specialmateriel samt Försvarsmaktens beklädnads-, fältinkvarterings-, fältprovianterings- och medicinalmateriel.

Försvarsmaktens miljö- och hälsoskydd övervakar bl.a. livsmedelssäkerheten i garnisonsrestaurangerna och inom fältprovianteringen, kvaliteten hos hushållsvattnet samt inkvarteringen och avfallshanteringen under militära övningar.

The 1st Logistics Regiment supports the administrative units of the Defence Forces and the Border Guard in the organisation of logistics and support in all states of readiness. As a special feature, the Regiment is responsible for the storage and condition monitoring of explosive material.

The Explosives Centre is responsible for the production, maintenance and decommissioning of explosives in the Defence Forces.

Sotilaslääketieteen keskus huolehtii varusmiesten ja Puolustusvoimien henkilökunnan terveydestä. Keskus järjestää kenttälääkinnän koulutuksia ja tekee sotilaslääketieteellistä tutkimusta.

Sprängmedelscentret ansvarar för produktion, underhåll och urbruktagande av Försvarsmaktens explosiva varor. Centret ansvarar även för eliminering av urbruktagna och förkastade explosiva varor samt för testverksamheten.

Centret för militärmedicin sörjer för beväringarnas och Försvarsmaktens personals hälsa samt ordnar utbildning i fältsjukvård och bedriver militärmedicinsk forskning.
