The Logistics School

The Logistics School is a brigade-level unit subordinate to the Logistics Command Headquarters. The Logistics School provides logistics training included in officer training degrees, on the basis of the needs of the services, and conducts research activities aimed at developing the Defence Forces logistics system.

The Logistics School organises basic and continuing education for the Defence Forces salaried personnel in cooperation with the National Defence University and the service, branch and functional area schools.

The Logistics School produces support and logistics guidebooks and manuals for the Defence Forces and conducts operational and tactical level research work. The Logistics School operates in Riihimäki. It has 70 employees.

The Logistics School provides field medicine training for reserve officers in cooperation with the Centre for Military Medicine and the Army Academy.
