The Logistics School

The Logistics School is a subordinate unit of the Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command Headquarters.

In cooperation with the National Defence University (NDU) and the Finnish Defence Forces’ branch service academies, the Logistics School provides FDF personnel with basic and advanced training in logistics. It is also responsible for the logistics training of the future Finnish Border Guard officers as a part of their military sciences’ studies at the NDU.

The Logistics School also carries out research work to develop the Finnish Defence Forces logistics system and produces instructions, field manuals and handbooks for the FDF. In cooperation with the Finnish Army Academy, the Logistics School is responsible for the FDF reserve officer training in field medicine.

The Logistics School is located in Riihimäki. It employs ca. 70 personnel.
