The 1st Logistics Regiment

The 1st Logistics Regiment is responsible for the Finnish Defence Forces’ logistics service network in Eastern and Southern Finland.

The Regiment stores military equipment for all FDF units in its area of responsibility and provides them with logistics support. It is also responsible for the maintenance and inspections of the material it stores. Its special mission is the storage of explosives.

The 1st Logistics Regiment comprises the Regiment Headquarters, the East Finland Storage Section, the South Finland Storage Section and the East Finland Security Unit. The Regiment Headquarters is located in Kouvola. The Regiment operates in 15 localities and employs ca. 200 personnel.
