On 15 December, the 2025 call-up was completed. Altogether 76,29 percent of the male Finnish nationals of the age group was ordered to service. Since the previous year, the number has increased by 0,22 percentage points.
From 15 August to 15 December 2025, the Finnish Defence Forces’ Regional Offices organised the call-up in accordance with the Conscription Act. In the autumn, altogether 501 call-up events were held in 238 locations. Of the male age group born in 2007, the call-up concerned 32,095 Finnish male nationals, of whom to conscript service were ordered altogether 76,29 percentages, i.e. 24,486 persons in total.

Closing date for application to voluntary military service for women will be 15.1.2026
The closing date for application to voluntary military service for women is approaching. You may submit your application to the voluntary military service for women if you are a Finnish national, 18-29 years of age, in a state of health suitable for military training. Military service can be undertaken at all brigade-level units and in all service tasks of the Finnish Defence Forces, and in the Finnish Border Guard.
You may submit your application to the voluntary military service for women online via the e-service OmaIntti. To your application you need to attach a medical report on your state of health. Please note that at the e-service OmaIntti, maintenance will cause a break that lasts from 7.1.2026 at 16 to 12.1.2026 at 09, which means that during the outage no services are available for applicants. So, please submit your application well on time!
