Logistics Command to Purchase 29 Patria XA-300s for the Finnish Army

Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command will acquire 29 Patria XA-300 (Patria 6x6) Armored Personnel Carriers. The procurement is the last part of an additional purchase option of 70 vehicles signed in 2023.

In the summer of 2023 Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command (FDFLOGCOM) and Patria signed an agreement for 91 XA-300 vehicles with equipment. The agreement included an additional purchase option of 70 vehicles. 

In September 2024, the FDFLOGCOM redeemed 29 purchase option vehicles with equipment and spares with a total value of 36,5 million euros (incl. VAT). The first 41 purchase option vehicles were redeemed late in the year 2023 and early in 2024. Patria XA-300 vehicles will provide Finnish Army units with increased mobility until the 2060s.
