General Christopher Donahue (LANDCOM and USAEUR-AF), Lieutenant General Mike Elviss (UK FIELD ARMY), Major General Lars Lervik (NO ARMY), Major General Jonny Lindfors (SE ARMY) and Major General Peter Harling Boysen (DK ARMY) visited Finland on 30-31 January 2025.
During their visit, multiple topics related to NATO’s collective deterrence and defence and the role of the upcoming Land Component Command (MCLCC) were discussed. The topics of discussion also included the situation in Nato’s Northern Flank, support for Ukraine, as well as the upcoming training and exercise activities in the Nordics.
The visit was hosted by the Commander of the Finnish Army, Lieutenant General Pasi Välimäki.
